To experience life deeply means to be deeply in your body. To be deeply in your body you have to feel. The new and the old. From unfelt feelings out of childhood and traumatic experience, to untouched joy and unexpressed laughter. To feel is to heal.
A breath session will be a safe space to make that deeper connection with your body and experience a new feeling of being at home with yourself.

How it works
Our bodies, our feelings and our thoughts are closely related and all influence each other. Most people only use about 30% of their breathing capacity. Oxygen provides us with vital energy and a lack of it can cause fatigue, stress and depression. By circulating oxygen around your body, energy starts to flow and the body comes in a state of transformation.
We can tell by the way we breathe wether or not we are constricted. In this way the breath becomes a powerful indicator to discover how we feel in each moment. And it is also through the breath that we can open up these constrictions, by breathing deeper into- and allowing the surrender in the outbreath to soften these places.
During a breath session we will create a space with receptivity and allowance. A moment where there will be the openness and safety that is needed for you to feel deeper layers into your body. With patience and softness, you will be able to let go of tensions long held, to let your system relax, where it previously was contracted. And experience more freedom within yourself and within your surroundings.

When becoming more familiar with the technique and cultivating the right focus and mind-set, you can ultimately free your whole body.

Offerings
Individual /partner sessions
Individual coaching and breathwork, partner sessions, single or trajectory. Doing breathwork one on one is always a very powerful experience, when doing breathwork it might be beneficial for you to come more than once. I always advice to come one time, and after we can discuss what would be the right frequency for you to come. At all times I will tell you to listen to your body.

Group sessions
From time to time I organise open group sessions in Amsterdam that you can join. I post upcoming events on my social media (Facebook and Instagram). Follow me there if you would like to stay up to date. You can also book me for a group session, if you would like breathwork during your event or if you want to do a session with your friends (also possible online).

Online sessions individual & group​
Everything I offer, I also offer online, via online platforms & zoom. I have experienced that online the sessions can be as effective and powerful. Is it quite different since we are both in a separate space and there is no way for me to apply trigger pointing and other touch, but you will be laying on your own bed /sofa and after the session you can immediately integrate the session while already being at home.

About Dorien
Who I Am
Embodiment was always the focus point in my life's journey. It was and is clear to me that all the answers are found closest to home...in my own body, the vessel that was given to me.
And again and again my body shows me deeper ways of understanding. Of myself, others and the world at large.
And also the ways to share this understanding.
When I discovered breathwork I knew I had found something special, an ideal tool to sink deeper into the body.
